Job Function:To deliver profitable growth through both organic and new business opportunities and solutions for selling for the South African Healthcare business – both IHS and for IMAHSLead and align the Business Development and Sales value chain function through the development and implementation of a functional strategy and operating model, enabling a high-performance culture, client satisfaction, reduced risk, and compliance to regulatory and legislative requirements.Key performance areas:Define and implement a value proposition and Go-to-Market strategy, operating model, and policies for a value-chain function in the context of the organisational, strategy, operating model, relevant corporate governance, and risk profile of both businesses.Facilitate the sales process for applicable clients.Facilitate the service design and incubation process relevant to applicable clients.Develop and execute a market and service strategy, informed by an extensive analysis of relevant business intelligence.Maintain and report on the sales pipeline for applicable clients.EmployeesIntegrate and align multiple value chain functions based on internal & external client requirements as well as market trends and other business intelligence.Develop and execute applicable client growth strategies in the context of a service and market strategy as well as an analysis of client intelligence.Analyse, report on, and improve applicable client performance indicators.Manage all commercial and legal aspects of RFQ’s and tenders.Qualifications required:Bachelor’s degree- Business ManagementSkills & Experience Required:A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry at a management levelAnalytical Skills, attention to detailAbility to work under pressure.Valid driver’s license and own car is essential.Ability to interact at a high level with clients and senior management.Self-starter who is able to develop relationships and engender transparency.About DP WorldTrade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
