Job Description: RCL FOODS is searching for a Condition Monitoring&Reliability Analyst to join our Sugar Team based in Komati, Mpumalanga. The primary objective of this position is to control and manage the condition based monitoring system. This role reports to the Plant Engineer and the successful candidate will be expected to ensure that the condition monitoring plan and the oil analysis system is in place, monitor machines relevant to plant availability, laser alignment of rotating equipment and balancing of equipment, report any abnormalities on equipment to relevant departments and comply with all safety rules as per RCL FOODS and OSH requirements. [ads1] Job Responsibilities: The capturing, analysis and reporting of vibration on rotating equipment. Comply with all safety rules as per RCL Foods and OSH Act requirements Driving the plant thickness testing program and the mapping and reporting of wear rates. Laser alignment of rotating equipment and balancing of equipment Report any accidents, incidents immediately to the line manager. Coordinating the oil analysis system through sampling, analysis and reporting. Developing and coordinating the plant infrared scanning program Job Requirements: Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Vibration Analyst Level 1&2 Training Matric or N3 qualification plus Trade Test certificate in Mechanical Engineering To be considered for appointment, candidate must be a South African Citizen Knowledge of heavy Engineering high speed rotating equipment and computer based planned maintenance is essential Laser Alignment Training Requires 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
