Job Description The Business Analyst (BA) will work from the IT Project office and is responsible for analyzing processes and identifying areas of improvement to support company goals. The BA will effectively interpret business requirements, translate them into actionable plans, and document them for the technical team. They will take the lead in managing projects, overseeing communication, documentation, testing, and training to ensure successful implementation. Job Responsibilities: Designing and implementing efficient business processes. Developing and presenting business cases to support decision-making. Eliciting and documenting requirements, as well as creating work breakdown structures. Developing test cases and conducting thorough testing. Facilitating project communication and ensuring effective collaboration. Assisting in the development of training materials and providing support for training sessions. Providing support during and after implementation to ensure a smooth transition. Developing project plans and assisting in project management activities. Requirements BSc Information Systems or BCom Business, Accounting or other relevant discipline. Post graduate Business Analysis qualification (Recommended) 5 years of business analysis experience. 2 years of project management experience. A Valid, un-endorsed Code 8 driver's license. Computer literate: proficient at an Advanced level in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio. The ideal candidate should possess the following competencies : Project Management Experience (Advantageous) Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong business analysis expertise, including process modeling, requirements engineering, cost-benefit analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Process and systems-oriented mindset. Ability to assess and validate solutions. Proficiency in research methodology and frameworks. Skilled in facilitating work sessions and gathering information. Experience in documenting requirements, including gap analysis and feasibility studies. Strong business acumen and financial understanding. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work.
