DP World City of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa This role will lead the finance function for the capability within the SSA region, setting financial targets in line with strategy, providing commercial assistance including conducting feasibility assessments, costing models and proposals, monitoring expenditure, internal controls oversight, managing cash flow and tax compliance. Key Performance Areas Define and implement the strategy, operating model, and policies for the financial function in the context of the businesses strategy, the businesses operating model, relevant corporate governance, and business risk profile Drive the timeous and accurate completion of the month ends, year ends and budgeting process and other financial and statutory requirements Ensure that the various Client costing models and contracts are achieving mandated returns Identify and manage business risks Ensure the optimal control and management of company’s assets Ensure compliance to all statutory and governance requirements Consolidate, analyse, and report on financial performance as well as corrective, preventative and improvement initiatives required to achieve financial strategies Ensure the effective management of working capital Align and integrate the financial function with internal&external client requirements as well as market trends and other business intelligence Review and advise on management decisions to ensure optimal impact on the financial success of the business Align the Finance Team’s performance goals to support the achievement of the company’s strategy Fill approved Finance positions in compliance with the Recruitment practice. Manage talent and succession of the Finance Team Ensure compliance to the limits of authority Qualifications and Experience Qualified CA (SA) 10+ years of experience in a similar environment of which 3 – 4 years’ is at an FD or equivalent level.
