QualificationsMedical / healthcare sales management experience is essential overseeing sales to private and government hospitalsMedical and/or Sales and Marketing tertiary qualification will be an advantageThe role of this position is to develop and execute the Areas business strategy with respect to its sales performance targets for all product categories in conjunction with the Managing Director and other stakeholders, in line with Group objectives. The position will focus on growing market share and ensure business performance targets are met for all Sales Consultants.Involvement with establishment and execution of Area Sales Plans to ensure business objectives are achievedDevelopment of short term and long term strategies for the regionPlans for customer retention as well as conversion.C-suite and Key Opinion Leader relationship development and managementAchievement of set Area Sales Budget and growth objectivesDevelopment for product portfolios in line with company expectationsManagement of Sales Consultants regionallyCo-travelling with sales consultantsMonitoring of call planners and report analysis weekly and monthly reportingMonitoring of call rates and territory coverageMonthly reporting on achievement of salesMonthly forecasting of area sales and orders & monitoring of forecast accuracyBudget planning and territory management with sales advisorsExecution of sales strategies for the regionManaging of sales expensesEnsure that all Sales consultants operate in a structured approach to their sales activitiesEnsure that Sale Consultant are Facilitating workshops and customer trainingPlanning of training requirements for the sales consultantsMaintain Area customer data baseMarket intelligence and feedback on competitor activitiesRequirementsMature leader, entrepreneur, strong communicator, people managerVery growth-, innovation- and customer-oriented, "the face to the market"Strong service orientation; high energy/drive;Good financial/business acumen;Ability to exert influence and persuasion across a broad front;Successful relevant sales management experience will be beneficialExperience in preparation and implementation of sales, product strategies and plansMarketing or general business along with experience within a Healthcare related industry/ profession would be most desirableValid Drivers License and own vehicleComputer literate, intermediate in Ms ExcelTeam playerExcellent people management and communication skills (verbal & written)
