Medical Aid rate based on principal member only) To be confirmed Advert Closing Date 25/6/2024 Job Purpose Perform technical tasks in medical rescue training ranging from assisting with maintenance and running of equipment, assisting with the practical training of students. Ensuring optimal rescue training environment. Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience The candidate should have a BTech or Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Care. The incumbent is required to be registered with the HPCSA as an Emergency Care Practitioner with a minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience. Code 10 drivers license with PDP. Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities Ensure medical rescue training safety and standards, including physical fitness to safely perform rescue training. Maintenance and expansion of rescue equipment Preparation, maintenance and calibration of specialised rescue equipment for use in medical rescue training Purchasing of equipment and monitoring of equipment Orientation, Teaching and supervising students on the use of equipment Keep records and report on equipment maintenance and research projects General housekeeping of all equipment, and the maintenance of the rescue storerooms Excellent presentation, organizational, planning, coaching communication and administrative skills Strong learner focus, proficiency in English, proficiency in MS Office 365, ability to work in a team, a quality orientated work ethic High awareness of medical rescue safety requirements Ability to operate specialized rescue equipment General Information NB: THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT ALLOW APPLICANTS TO UPLOAD CVs, QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATES OR ANY IDENTITY DOCUMENTATION.
