PNLs and forecasts.Highly presentableExcellent command of the English language with solid verbal and written communication skillsAble to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidaysAdvantageous Experience and Qualification Desired:Previous Food and Beverage operational experience mandatoryThird European languageKnowledge of OperaKnowledge of MicrosFluency in Xhosa and/or AfrikaansKey Performance Objectives:To be a Red Carnation Hotel Ambassador by:actively living our company mission and values and striving to deliver on our promise of “No Request too Large; and ensuring that all correspondence with clients reflects the professionalism of the company standard and enhances the relationships with key suppliers to The Twelve Apostles and Bushmans Kloof Wilderness ReserveTo maximize revenue generating opportunities, whilst enhancing the guest service experience, in accordance with RCH StandardsTo ensure the accuracy of all reservation to ensure an exceptional guest experienceTo liaise with clients, ascertaining their requirements and co-ordinating these needs to ensure the successful execution of their wedding function.To be present on the day of event, coordinating all setups and preparations, overseeing all of the couple’s and family’s needs leading up to and on the wedding day as well as assisting the Banqueting Manager where needed.Responsible to operate within the policies and procedures.To update and maintain the enquiry report and conversion statistical reportTo assume the duties of the Hotel Wedding Coordinator in his/her absenceTo ensure that the highest standard of performance and service is achieved when selling, reserving, planning and executing wedding and events or additional services for The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Bushmans Kloof Wilderness ReserveTo process all enquiries timeously and efficientlyTo ensure harmonious relationships exist with other departments, suppliers and hotel management by maintaining clear and prompt communication between all parties; and ensuring that all correspondence with clients reflects the professionalism of the company standard and enhances the relationships with key suppliers to The Twelve Apostles and Bushmans Kloof Wilderness ReserveTo maximise revenue generating opportunities, whilst enhancing the guest service experience, in accordance with RCH StandardsCommunicating with vendors to confirm logistics and review contractsCompleting a final checkup on the venues for the ceremony and receptionMeeting with the couple a few weeks before the weddingAddressing any overlooked detailsManaging the RehearsalsCreating a comprehensive timeline and floor plansTo ensure the accuracy of all reservation to ensure an exceptional guest experienceTo liaise with clients, ascertaining their requirements and co-ordinating these needs to ensure the successful execution of their wedding function.To be present on the day of event, coordinating all setups and preparations, overseeing all of the couple’s and family’s needs leading up to and on the wedding / event day as well as assisting the Banqueting Manager where needed.Prepare and present financial and operational reports as required by the business needsAccurate account management;To update and maintain the enquiry report and conversion statistical reportTo assume the duties of departmental head member in his/her absence.
