This Risk Analyst position involves assisting with the implementation and administration of the enterprise risk management framework with a particular focus on supporting the underlying business units, risk reporting and risk governance. It is anticipated that internal and external training will be provided where necessary to ensure that the person has the necessary skill levels required to execute the designated tasks. Key Responsibilities Assist with the population and ongoing updating of information on the integrated enterprise-wide risk management software in accordance with the Sanlam Investment Group’s risk management methodology for risks, incidents and complaints. Assist with the development and review of risk and compliance related policies. Assist with the population and ongoing updating of operational procedures, controls and risks on the process documentation software. Prepare risk management reports under the direction of the Risk Manager. Conduct risk workshops. Conduct detailed risk assessments on specific issues. Perform other structured risk management techniques as the role develops. Play a role in risk governance processes and risk committee meetings. Communicate effectively with colleagues who act as the risk champions within the various departments and build long-term relationships with them. Assist with fostering a risk management and compliance culture within the business.
