The IIE’s Vega, Cape Town Campushas a vacancy for a Part-Time Academic Navigator (Lecturer) for the second semester in the following module: Data Analytics for Digital Marketing Job Purpose: Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning. Key Performance Areas: Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Support student academic success by implementing workshops where needed. Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions. Minimum Qualification Requirements: Ideally: An Honours degree in Digital Marketing Alternatively: An Honours degree in either Marketing, Branding or any other business-related field with Information Technology or Information Technology Management completed up to a first year level OR An Honours degree in Information Technology with Marketing, Branding or Business Management completed up to a first-year level Minimum Work Experience Requirements: Lecturing experience in web design or digital marketing.Work experience as a digital marketer or web developer/design.
