Communications Job Description Our client based in Cape Town (CBD) is currently seeking a Junior Support Engineer to join their technical support team. The Junior Support Engineer will assist in providing technical assistance to customers, resolving issues and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology, eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.The role is shift-based + weekends. Responsibilities: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers via phone and emailLog faults with service providers and third partiesAssist in investigating and resolving technical issuesCollaborate with senior support engineers and cross-functional teams to escalate and address complex technical issuesDocument and track customer issues, resolutions and trouble shooting steps in our internal knowledge base or ticketing systemCommunicate effectively with customers, providing regular updates and solutions clearly and professionallyReinforce SLAs to manage end-user expectationsWork closely with cross-functional teams, including Senior Support Engineers, Principal Engineers, Network Engineers and Administration to address end-user issues Role Requirements: Minimum required certifications: CCNA/MTCNA/JNCIAMinimum required experience: 1-3 years of working experience with a WISP/FISP or in a NOCAbility to work quickly, calmy and decisively under pressure, and must be process-oriented in approach to workWilling to spend time developing and learning new skills outside of the formal work environmentPlease apply directly here.Please note: due to the high volume of responses, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
