Country Manager (Communication and Engagement ZA) - Western Cape, Cape Town R1 100 000 - R1 200 000 annum (slightly negotiable) Requirements: Master's degree and/or equivalent demonstrable experience. 10 years + applicable leadership experience. Willing to live and work in Cape Town Responsibilities: Work jointly with the Country Manager (Operations) on creating the vision for the South Africa business and invest in the culture of the organisation. Work collaboratively with global strategic team to ensure that ZA is aligned with the Group's strategy, values and mission. Work closely with the Heads of Department to continuously improve and develop local strategies and processes, including the marketing and product strategy for registration of potential donors and awareness of related donation and fundraising. Joint responsibility with the Country Manager (Operations) for the effective management of the human resources of the organisation according to authorised personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current ZA laws and regulations. Ensure full compliance with all relevant ZA laws and regulations relating to charitable organizations and that the company reflects best practice, particularly as these relate to data protection and other national and international relevant standards. Be the ambassador of the NPO, represent the NPO in public and in press relations, ensure the organization and its mission is consistently presented and developed with a strong and positive image to all stakeholders. Jointly responsible alongside the Country Manager (Operations) for P&L accountable, developing and managing the budget process to meet both strategic and tactical targets.
