Job DescriptionA leading and dynamic Independent Power Producer is looking for a Project Development Manager to join their team who has a reputation for excellence; and developing exciting projects that push the boundaries.Minimum Requirements:BEng or BSc in EngineeringProven experience (7+ years) under the REIPPPP in leading the financial close process bid award to financial closeStrong interpersonal relationshipsKnowledge of/experience in the SA wheeling environment and Eskom wheeling requirements will be advantageousYour key responsibilities will include:Responsible for the general day-to-day management of the Project Development of the Projects;Leading the interaction with, and procuring all other approvals required from any Governmental Authority necessary to fully develop the Projects in accordance with the mandates (if any) given by and ensuring compliance with such approvals (e.g. Generation Licence(s) from NERSA);The selection and appointment of contractor(s) to perform services under the EPC Agreement(s) and the O&M Agreement(s), equipment suppliers and other service providers in respect of the Projects;Coordinating the process of preparation, negotiation, execution and conclusion of all Project Agreements;Coordinating the negotiations and managing the relationships with banks, lending institutions and other financial partners;Managing the process of negotiation and conclusion of all land leases, access rights, servitudes and other documentation pertaining to immovable property to be utilised in the Projects;Managing the process of procuring access to transmission and grid infrastructure with Eskom or such other Governmental Authorities;Coordinating the selection and appointment of any Project Advisor in respect of the Projects;Meeting tight deadlines and keeping within budget; andLiaising with client/off-taker.#J-18808-Ljbffr
