We work with small and large sellers to provide a complete toolkit to accept, manage and disburse payments through web and mobile.Our merchant partners include your favorite food delivery services, whether you’re ordering in or using a meal kit, travel services that can help you book your next getaway adventure and even your neighbor’s side-hustle e-commerce store.For these partners and their customers, we aim to provide delightful experiences that make it as easy as possible to facilitate online payments.You will be reporting to Nadine, Head of BizOps, meet her here.Why we’re hiring for this role:As a POS Technical Support Representative you will be expected to work with customers to identify POS system related problems and advise them on solutions. As an Applications Engineer you are critical to our merchant journey. As an Applications Engineer you will work closely with our onboarding, sales, engineering and products teams to ensure our merchants experience seamless and effortless integration support.Your mission, if you choose to accept it:Improve terminal performance by identifying problems; recommending changesResearch and resolve Point of Sale terminal issues and questions from our merchants and our Independent Sales Representatives.Interface directly with our merchants and their technical teams, serving as their primary technical point of contact during integrationUnderstand user requirements and communicate how we can solve their business and technical challengePartner with our Product, Engineering and Account Management team in helping customers understand what is technically possibleSpend time interacting with users by email, phone and Zoom/similarOptimize our internal and external documentation and processes surrounding a host of productsPartner with our Team Lead to support in refining tools and practices to increase the efficiency of self-service, the accuracy of our recommendations, and the quality of service to merchantsWhat we'd like you to have:An understanding of technical systems and the ability to translate that knowledge to support merchantsMUST have background/experience working with various switches such, Base24, ACI, Bankserv, technical Banking experience with payments and Issuing Card etcA curiosity and drive to work with team members across the organisation to deliver excellent support to our merchantsThe ability to self organize and initiative to identify opportunities for improvementPrevious payments experience is a plusThe ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersStrong business writing and spoken EnglishAn understanding of multiple programming languages, such as Python or JavaScriptA valid work authorisation to work in your country of residenceAdvantageous:Previous experience with a payment gateway or similarExperience working with credit card terminals, POS equipment  is a plus.2+ years Payments Technical Support experience preferredBe part of our story!
