Responsibilities Completing structural analysis and design of complex structures fabricated from structural steel Design of marine mining structures for ships Vibration design of structures, natural frequency and harmonic response analysis Design of land-based mining structures FEA in Strand7 VBA and API integration with Strand7 Requirements BSc/BEng degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in the mineral mining and processing sector Passionate about the design of steel structures and finite element analysis Proficiency in Strand7 and other related software Structural steel and connection design experience and/or experience in civils (foundations, walls, retaining walls) Must have exceptional problem-solving skills as well as multi-disciplinary skills related to engineering Highly organised and self-motivated BenefitsSalary: R540K – R780K CTC per annumRPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
