Mid-Level INVESTMENT ASSOCIATE (Infrastructure | Project Finance) Western Cape, SA (Hybrid)Highly Competitive Package on Offer!Our Client, Global Private Equity Pioneers is in search of an investment professional who has a passion for sustainable investing and emerging markets!One would describe you as an ambitious, resourceful, results orientated individual who has excellent knowledge of the financial markets and instruments together with possessing a strong agility towards analysing and forming opinions across different transactions and funds. Main Job PurposesPerforming financial due diligence and analysis on prospective projectsSupport investment team across all facets of deal activity and process life cyclesEvaluating prospective projects based on the funds investment policy and mandatePrepare and maintained project finance-based financial models for investments including return analysis, investment value drivers, sensitivityAnalyses, and refinancing and exit scenariosFinancial analysis of potential financing and investment structuresPreparation of reports and information memoranda and prospectusPresentation to potential and current investors on specific investmentsDeveloping and negotiating investment agreements and equityDocuments including joint development agreements; shareholdersAgreements; equity instruments (ordinary shares; preference shares; shareholder loans; mezzanine instruments).Drafting MOUs, joint development agreements and investment termCarrying out due diligence on potential investmentsPreparation of investment proposals for the investment committeeLiaising with fund managers, company managers, external legal, financial, tax and technical advisors to execute and/or monitor an investmentConducting market research on the industry and gather marketIntelligence to support investment strategies and or assessment of investment opportunitiesParticipating in financial briefing provided by the investment managers, internally and externally.Manage processes associated with compliance, governance and internal approvals in compliance with relevant regulations.Any other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned Qualifications, Experience & Skillset Required:Bachelors Degree in business or commerce, finance or related is essentialPost Graduate degree preferred3-5 Years relevant investment experience gained either on working on infrastructure deals or on project finance transactions and ideally come for the Private Equity / Investment Consulting or Banking / M&A Advisory / Energy / Water / Oil & Gas sectors Proven financial modelling skills gained with high levels of proficiency on MS ExcelGood working knowledge of key commercial statutes and regulations To apply for this role, please forward a updated and detailed CV to
