Minimum Requirements:A bachelor’s degree in relevant built-environment and a relevant post graduate degree at master’s level or accreditation as a professional civil or structural engineer, architect, or quantity surveyorUnderstanding of public sector infrastructure programme management frameworks.Professional certification in project management or supply chain management would be an added advantage.A minimum of ten (10) years working experience in the built environment of which at least 5 years must be in a senior management or portfolio management role.Experience in managing the planning, procurement, delivery, and monitoring of infrastructure construction is a must.Experience in the implementation of the National Treasury Standard for Infrastructure Procurement and Delivery Management (SIPDM) would be an added advantage.Responsibilities: Overseeing and directing the sourcing, planning and rollout of infrastructure programmes on behalf of public sector and partner institutions.Drive the enlisting of the organisation as an infrastructure programme management partner by national, provincial, local government, and other partner institutions relating to social, economic, and basic services infrastructure.Business development, infrastructure programme delivery management systems, infrastructure development planning, infrastructure programmes execution and monitoring, client and stakeholder relations management, and contract management.Overseeing revenue collection for services rendered, creating a sustainable revenue stream, and managing the service in a commercially sound and development-oriented manner.The operations of the business unit are required to contribute to funding of the development mandate of the Corporation including pursuit of external funding for infrastructure development from local, national and international sources including the national treasury’s budget facility for infrastructure (BFI) and; to the attainment of sustainable institutional operating surplus.Providing overall strategic leadership and management of resources within the unit.
