We are seeking a trade tested Electrician or Millwright for an automotive supplier in East London to ensure tooling and equipment conforms to the Group’s HSE standards and that production equipment is well maintained and in good working order. Responsibilities: Fault finding; repairs and installation Maintain and service equipment Breakdown time recording at machine (from start to finish) Service reports to be completed after each service Maintain products equipment as per machine manual Spare parts availability Ensure spare equipment in good working order. Housekeeping and maintenance clean and tidying of work area throughout the shift and on completion of every shift. Attend to any oil and water leaks at machine immediately. Main responsibilities: Maximum machine availability and support to production. Contribute to the improvement of electrical and mechanical standards Ensure electrical and mechanical equipment conforms to the Group’s HSE standards Ensure that production equipment is well maintained and in good working order Maintenance of tooling and related equipment Facilities are well maintained Need to be contactable after hours to support. Weekly Maintenance reports Process related problem solving and support. Support and set up of machines, robots and grippers. To now all equipment performance capability’s To know each equipment duty and what effect it will have if its under performing Make sure all work orders etc. are attended to Close of work orders in CVe Plant equipment must be stopped, and management must be notified immediately of possible risk to plant or co-workers. Follow the escalation procedure when I machine is stopped. Quality knowledge The job holder is obliged to follow the processes of the current versions of the IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or ISO 50001 standards described in the business management system if these are certified at the location and comply with the regulations applicable in the HR area. Manual and guidelines are available in the department. Requirements Extensive knowledge of plastic injection tooling & processes Completed higher certificate grade 12 or equivalent.
