We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Director to oversee a major development consisting of 550 affordable housing units in East London. This ambitious project spans six blocks, varying in height from 6 to 18 storeys, and is a key part of our client's busy pipeline of work. About the Role: As the Project Director, you will be at the forefront of this landmark development, managing all aspects from inception to completion. You will ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability are met, while delivering on time and within budget. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in large-scale residential projects. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction and handover. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals. Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, community groups, and other key stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience: Extensive experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably in large-scale residential developments. Proven track record of delivering multi-storey residential projects on time and within budget. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
