IT Manager, 12 month contract, East London 2024-06-06 - 2024-07-06 Contractor EL002757 Information Technology We are seeking an IT Manager for a 12-month contract role based in East London, Eastern Cape Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology / related. Master’s degree preferred. 5+ years’ experience in IT management / related Relevant certifications: (CompTIA Network+, CISSP, ITIL) are beneficial Valid drivers and willing to do occasional travel On call availability for emergency situations The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Lead / manage IT team, including hiring and evaluating staff performance Develop / implement IT policies and procedures Set / manage IT budgets Installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems and network infrastructure Ensure availability and reliability of IT systems Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies Develop / enforce security policies and monitor / respond to security incidents Security audits and risk assessments Resolve hardware&software issues Manage helpdesk Plan / oversee IT projects Identify and implement technology solutions Improve organizational efficiency Ensure IT operations comply with regulatory requirements Salary: R40 000.00 per month for the contract duration To apply email detailed CV and all supporting documentation through to nomphelo@sheldon.co.za If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful #J-18808-Ljbffr
