Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: ND analytical Chemistry or equivalentMust have food manufacturing industry experienceKnowledge of relevant food safety requirements will be an added advantageExcellent written and verbal communication skills.IT literate in Microsoft applications.The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Inputting of accurate information into electronic platforms (PowerBI, Entecom)Conducting analysis (chemical and microbiological analysis as per SOPSCalibration of instruments when on dutyConduct tasks as required by QAC to ensure compliance with BRC standardsJunior Analyst must ensure that his/her workspace is kept neat and tidy in accordance with the 5S principlesPerforming routine microbiological testing (Yeasts & Moulds, TPC, Coliforms and TAB) on product and CIP water.Assisting with environmental monitoring.Performing advanced testing using NIR spectrometry, HPLC and UV/VIS spectrophotometry (Chlorophyll, lactic acid and ethanol).Perform more routine product testing when required (Brix, acid, color and pulp etc.) Salary: R7500.00 per month To apply email detailed CV and all supporting documentation through to
