I am aiding a London based surfacing contractor with their search for a Scheme Supervisor for a role based in East London.My client specialises in Highways maintenance and has been a key contractor for the last 40 years , due to an increase in work they are looking to expand their operational team to supervise some of their many London Borough city contracts. Within the first 3 months of the role you will be expected to excerise setting out and site engineering duties and will then progress onto your supervising role.Some responsibilities are listed but not limited to :-To manage labour, plant, materials and subcontractors on site to ensure that all construction activities are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with programme/works order, budget and quality requirements.-Ensuring compliance with the Company's policies, processes and procedures. Working closely with the project Quantity Surveyor(s) to understand the commercial strategy for each project and implement this on site to maximise returns.-Development and maintenance of relationship with Client Engineers and Supervisors.-Support commercial team with collecting data on a weekly basis for Hot costings and Invoice / Application development and prestart estimates / budgets-Leading and developing the site team to drive best practice and continuous improvement.If you have proven experience within the civil engineering industry , preferably for works delivery within the highways sector , this would be the perfect opportunity for you .#J-18808-Ljbffr
