ROLE OVERVIEWAs a Fire Protection Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations. You will lead a team of technicians and ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise and coordinate the work of fire protection technicians, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standardsConduct site visits to assess project requirements and provide technical guidance to team membersReview project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standardsMonitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and equipment required for projectsConduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and proceduresTrain and develop team members to improve their knowledge and skills in fire protection systemsLiaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfactionPrepare and submit project progress reports to managementStay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in fire protection technology and standards. REQUIREMENTSMinimum of 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleExtensive knowledge of fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and suppression systemsStrong understanding of relevant codes and standards and local building codesProven leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesValid driver's license and ability to travel to different job sites as required
