Are you a Private Sector Lettings Officer looking for work in East London?Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in East London is looking to recruit a Private Sector Lettings Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.As a Private Sector Lettings Officer, you will be responsible for managing properties in the private rented sector, facilitating lettings, and ensuring the provision of high-quality temporary accommodation for individuals and families in need.Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:Provide support and assistance to tenants residing in properties managed by the organization, including addressing tenancy-related issues, signposting to relevant support services, and facilitating access to housing-related benefits and entitlements.Manage a portfolio of properties in the private rented sector, including conducting property inspections, overseeing maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Coordinate the lettings process for vacant properties, including advertising vacancies, conducting viewings, screening applicants, and negotiating tenancy agreements. Ensure timely and efficient turnaround of void properties to minimize vacancy rates.Manage the provision of temporary accommodation for individuals and families experiencing housing instability, including liaising with landlords, negotiating lease agreements, and overseeing the day-to-day operation of temporary accommodation units.Build and maintain positive relationships with private landlords and property owners, negotiating lease agreements, resolving tenancy disputes, and promoting the benefits of working with the organization to provide housing solutions.Maintain accurate records of property management activities, tenant interactions, and temporary accommodation placements using the organization's database systems.
