Tomorrow have partnered with an independent edit house, full of creatives based in East London who are looking for a talented Assistant Editor to join their dynamic, in-house post-production team. This position offers a great opportunity to work on a diverse and exciting range projects and contribute significantly to the final product. Key Responsibilities: Technical Troubleshooting, addressing fundamental technical problems and seeking assistance for more complex issues. This will include managing software and hardware issues. Set up projects for a smooth work flow and to allow efficient editing on projects. Preliminary selections of shots and sequences to assist the editing process. Demonstrate good operational knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder, with familiarity with Adobe After Effects. Knowledge of Davinci&Avid is a bonus. Quality Assurance: Conduct meticulous reviews of edits before final handover to ensure they are error-free. Syncing Footage: Efficiently sync and organise raw footage for editing. Accurately label and log footage for easy retrieval, reference and managing media files. Sound editing skills, with sound&footage sourcing Desire to continue learning advanced organisation techniques and improving editing skills on the go. LTO Library/Archiving Prepare EDLs, XMLs, AAFs, OMFs, plus reference videos for online. About you: Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere and a solid understanding of Adobe After Effects. Knowledge of Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve would be beneficial. Excellent organisational and file management skills. Keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work with good communication skills. Working closely with the wider team, the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem solving skills and technical acumen.
