Requirements:Relevant tertiary qualification (degree)4-5 years of relevant experience Knowledge of sales fundamentalsStrong IPR and communication skills. Good Team Management Skills.Ability to resolve conflicts and handle objections.Overall responsibilitiesDriven by results, committed to meeting deadlines, ambitious and dedicated, taking on full responsibility and ownership of the position.Effective interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and the proven ability to communicate effectively with subordinates, colleagues and superiors, inter and intra departmentally within the organization and externally with customers and suppliers at all levels within their organizations.Ability to think analytically, conceptually and systematically in order to resolve problems.Attention to detail so as to ensure accuracy of reporting.Strong analytical skills and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsAbility to identify areas of weakness and implement necessary controls so as to continually strive for improvementMeets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in all key accounts within the channels.Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in all channel key accounts.Drive adoption of marketing and sales programs among assigned key accounts.Build new databased and drive company coverage Lead the Field Sales Internal and External Management teams to ensure business success within key, complex accountsMonitors and analyses sales performance by Region / Area and institutes action plans to rectify weakness, deficits and or capitalise on business opportunities.Manages budget and ensures adherence within budget parametersFormulates and administers Sales incentives for the division, working within the prescribed budget parameters, in order to motivate and achieve various sales objectives ongoing.Oversees the Sales Administration function to ensure that this support function renders the specified requirements timeously and accuratelyDetailed Responsibilities:Managing sales & distribution (Key Accounts and Distributors)Meeting the monthly target with wide spread distributionMeeting Distribution TargetsMeeting NPD TargetsMeeting Forecasting TargetsManaging the NC to maximise and to meet the targeted NC by BrandManaging the Key accounts within the assigned geographySetting up and tying up Promotional ActivitiesAnnual Trading Term negotiation with Distributors and Key accountsCovering all class of Outlets in assigned geographyMaking the required number of sales calls as defined by SOPChecking, visiting display outlets of the Market under coverage.Increasing the standards of display and merchandisingVisiting and attending customer complaintsEnsuring the service levels of customer credit frequency, collection etc.Plan and Manage Trade Marketing spendsMonitoring, analysing and Reporting weekly/monthly IMSMonthly Forecasting by Country/Region/DistributorIn Market Price Surveys to establish and managing Indexing on brandsStockist/Distributor ManagementEnsuring the infrastructure of the stockist/Distributor - unit, quality of salesmen, delivery people etc.Physical Stock CheckingReviewing Interim Sales (Primary and Secondary)Briefing the stockists/Wholesaler on month's activities & sales Target at the start of the month.Ensuring cheque encashmentEnsuring stock receipt from transportersTo take corrective action on cheque bouncing casesManaging Returns/DamagesAdministrativePreparing statements- monthly reportsPreparing claims & submitting on time for clearance.Reporting damages and shortages claims etc to Line Manager.Maintain up to date filesSending Reports Such as PJP, MJP, and DSR as per time line set by managementCoordination with Support Staff for Sales Booking & dispatchesTo submit their expenses statement as per set time frameTraining and DevelopmentTo develop respective Sales & Merchandising teams within the Distributors in each country.Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
