Position description / overview:The HR Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources function. Responsible for various HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labour laws and company policies. Works closely with the HR team and management to ensure the effective implementation of HR programs and initiativesMinimum Requirements / Experience:Diploma / BTech in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldSound knowledge of HR principles, practices, and labour laws2-5 years’ experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role, preferably in the FMCG manufacturing industryFamiliarity with HR/payroll systems and proficiency in MS Office applicationsResponsibilities:Recruitment and Selection:Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, sourcing candidates, screening, conducting interviews, and facilitating the selection processCollaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and define selection criteriaCoordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including orientation, paperwork, and introduction to company policies and proceduresEmployee Relations:Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries, concerns, and policy interpretationAssist in resolving employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and labour lawsMaintain employee records, including personnel files, leave records, and other HR-related documentationPerformance Management:Support the performance management process by assisting in goal setting, performance reviews, and performance improvement plansMonitor and track employee performance data, provide analysis, and generate reports for management reviewCoordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee performance and skillsTraining and Development:Identify training needs and assist in the development and implementation of training programsCoordinate employee training sessions, workshops, and other learning activitiesAdminister and track employee training records and evaluate training effectivenessHR Policies and Compliance:Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and company policiesAssist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and guidelinesStay updated on changes in labour laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to the HR team and managementHR Administration:Assist in HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining HR files, preparing HR-related reports and general adminSupport payroll administration processes when requiredAssist in employee offboarding activities, including exit interviews and separation processes#J-18808-Ljbffr
