Morgan Hunt currently require Receptionist for NHS based in East London.Pay Rate: £10.42ph PAYE £1.25ph WTR Total: £11.67ph Weekdays/ £13.56ph PAYE Nights/Saturday All Day and £15.63ph PAYE Sunday/Bank Holiday All Day.Hours: 37.5 hours shifts per day between 06:00am to 22:00pmLocation: East LondonDuration: 6 months on going contractJob PurposeThe candidate will work as a member of the established reception team to provide and promote a friendly, welcoming, service user focused and professional reception service to all hospital users. Usually, the first point of contact for our patients, staff and visitors, the receptionist is required to welcome hospital users and answer any queries or questions they may have in a courteous, informed, and reassuring manner.Main duties, responsibilities, and results areas➢ To staff the reception desk(s) greeting all hospital users acting as the first point of contact for the Trust➢ Communicate and interact with all hospital users both via the telephone and in person at the desk in a professional and courteous manner.➢ Issuing of wayfinding information to all hospital users ensuring that the information issued is correct and up to date.➢ Keep the reception desk and general area, including the external entrances, clean and tidy and report any issues to the relevant soft FM teams for resolution.➢ Access the Patient record (CRS) system to locate the current position of service users and inform relatives accordingly in line with the agreed operating procedure➢ Always maintain patient confidentiality in line with Trust policies and procedures➢ Ensure that all uniform and equipment issued is worn, clean and presentable, at all times, including name badges➢ Ensure that all documentation, logs, and records are completed appropriately and in line with the defined reception procedures and protocols.➢ Work flexibly to ensure that any administrative duties for the security and reception services are covered effectively.➢ Occasional requirement to resolve conflict or contentious situations➢ Assist the Trust volunteers at the reception areas➢ Assist in the production, renewing, reprogramming, and issuing of access control cards (ID Cards) and peripherals for staff and contractors➢ Maintain accurate stock details for ID cards and peripherals.Interact and support the Security team in major incidents, as directed by the SiteSecurity Manager or named deputy➢ At all times carry out the duties of the role in a professional and compassionate manner when interacting with all Hospital users➢ Undertake other reasonable reception and security duties as directed by the SiteSecurity Manager or named deputy.➢ Receive and secure items of lost property and complete all necessary documentation in the unavailability of a member of the security team.➢ To report to the Site Security manager or named deputy on reception issues at the designated hospital site.➢ Build effective working relationships with all hospital departments, other staff and external customers / service users to achieve co-operative working, performance compliance, and a common focus to achieve strategic objectives.➢ Have good knowledge of the Security and Reception performance indicators and quality standards.➢ Ensure that all Trust governance policies and procedures are maintained➢ Ensure that matters for escalation (risks, issues, changes, incidents) are raised and escalated following the correct governance policies and procedures.➢ The job description is not intended to be exhaustive, and it is likely that duties may be altered from time to time in the light of changing circumstances and after consultation with the postholder.➢ The post holder might be required to work across the Trust at any time throughout the duration of his/her contract, which may entail travel and working at different hospitals.
