Purpose of the position:The primary purpose is to actively engage, oversee and maintain accurate stock levels in line with production schedules while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity of Stores Staff.Minimum Requirements:Matric or equivalent with 2 or more years’ Stores and warehouse experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Basic MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook,)Experience in a leadership positionStock Take ExperienceDuties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:Overseeing Stores Staff and assigning and supervising daily tasks.Ensuring staff conduct daily Cycle Counts, checking and resolving queries and informing Inventory ManagerBeing well organized and focused on service deliveryGenerating delivery notes against the relevant accountsEnsuring all stock is stored according to the SAP part no.Always maintaining effective stock controlLiaising with Management to ensure Minimum and Maximum stock thresholds are always maintained – including buffer stock and additional spares for refurbishment.Preparing stores for bi-annual stock take and supervise the stock take processCollating all stock take results and forward to the Inventory Manager for checking.Always following the FIFO system.Always ensuring good Housekeeping and address housekeeping reports issued by Inventory ManagerReporting any shortages or low stock levels to buyer and Inventory ManagerEnsuring that Health and Safety rules are adhered toEnsuring stores staff capture, pack and store stock correctly and timeouslyEnsuring all paperwork is captured correctly and timeously onto the systemLiaising with Quality Department regarding non-conformances affecting Stock ItemsWorking unsupervised and meet set deadlinesEnsuring Procedures are updated and followed by Stores StaffAttending Weekly Stores Meetings Working Conditions:Standard working hours 7am to 4pm, Monday to FridayMust adhere to company policies and proceduresOvertime and weekend work may be required during busy periods.Stores / Production environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
