Job Description Our client, a leading engineering company with an arm in the renewable energy space, is seeking to employ a HV Test Engineer with a solid background in VFL or related cable testing to join their projects team for offshore project deployment. Please note that this role requires a solid background in Very Low Frequency cable or related testing, as well as a sound knowledge in the renewable energy sector, with the flexibility to travel extensively on deployment to offshore project sites. Key Requirements to Meet for Consideration You will have a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, specifically HV, coupled with 3-5 years of experience in VFL or related cable testing and installation. You will have a solid understanding of project planning, site establishments, cable testing and maintenance, as well as material and sub-contractor management. You will have experience in project and contractual documentation, as well as providing leadership on site with regards to HSE, maintenance, installation and overall client satisfaction at handover. The ability to travel extensively is essential. You must have a valid driver’s license, own car, and a clear criminal and credit record.
