A degree in Mechanical Engineering (BTech Eng) with at least 5 years experience within the automotive industry in product development (or similar) would be a minimum requirement for this opportunity. Job purpose would entail being responsible for the research, development and design of products and engineering projects and the management of a team of engineers to ensure the products or project developments are completed successfully. Duties include: Overseeing the design and development of products and processes Ensure products and associated jigs and fixtures are developed Product Development - create conceptual designs and presentations.
