Role: Diesel Mechanic - Trade Test Location: Verulam, Durban SA Duties&Responsibilities Maintenance of fleet: Carry out repairs and maintenance according to prescribed standards and checklists Preventative Maintenance: Carry out inspections on prescribed checklists and undertake repairs as required Attend to breakdowns and carry out the necessary repairs Ensure vehicles are (maintained) in line with legal requirements and company policies e. roadworthy etc. Maintain a safe and clean working place at all times Provide timely feedback to management with regard to breakdowns, repairs, services etc Perform ancillary duties to the above as determined by management on an ongoing basis Experience and Qualification: Matric - Grade 12 Qualified Artisan (Trade Test) with a minimum 5 years’ experience Experience in transport and logistic environment Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays Sound knowledge in servicing and maintenance of trucks (Mercedes) and tankers /trailers Valid driver's license, preferably code EC and own transport Competencies: Punctual Strong communication skills Analytical skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
