Job Description: We are searching for a dynamic and results-driven individual who is passionate about renewable energy and eager to make a difference in the world. We are seeking a highly motivated PV Sales Representative to join our team and help drive the adoption of our solar and backup power solutions. Qualifications Sales Background / Advanced Selling Key Accounts Management Customer Centric Approach / Client Relationship Skills Strong base with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms Enthusiastic, hardworking and highly productive (Attitude over skills) Strong attention to detail and a strong sense of punctuality Ability to work under pressure Knowledge of the Solar Industry, Competitor Products, Solutions and Services A basic understanding of electrical concepts, including Direct Current up to 1000VDC, and Alternating Current, both LV and MV, single and three phase. Understanding of Electrical DC Storage methods (eg. Batteries, UPS) Experience PV system design, including string sizing, inverter specification 3 years' experience in Key Accounts Management and Solar PV technologies. Technical diploma or degree Sales courses/diploma or continuous development Responsibilities New Business Development Identifying and onboarding potential partners (System Integrators/EPC’s&Distributors) through scouting visits and phone calls. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline by identifying and targeting potential residential and commercial solar energy customers. Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and provide tailored solar solutions to meet their energy needs. Conduct site assessments and offer expert advice on system design, sizing, and installation options. Prepare and present compelling proposals and quotations to prospective customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management and installation teams, to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation. Stay up to date on solar industry trends, policies, and incentives to provide accurate and informed information to customers. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Project Management Ensure that CRM data is up to date and that project forecasting is accurate. Manage and coordinate large projects until completed, being the central point of contact for the business partner and internal departments. Regularly review and update the project schedule to identify potential delays and take corrective actions to prevent schedule slippage. Customer Relationship Management Maintain a well-organised sales pipeline, tracking leads at various stages, updating the status of opportunities regularly on the CRM and communicating the customer’s needs to all relevant departments. Customer Agreements and Discount Schedules – Working with the Commercial Manager to ensure all key customers have valid and signed agreements. Discount schedules must also be checked to ensure that all customers get the correct discount levels and access to all the products they need to run and grow their businesses. Marketing and Training Represent Hudaco Energy within industry bodies and be an active member of the renewable energy community. Organize monthly training events in your region (and later Southern Africa) Organize and attend joint training and trade events with our customers.
