We are currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Consultant for our well-established FinServ organisation based on Umhlanga Ridge. You must possess strong problem-solving skills, patience, empathy and a high emotional intelligence to resolve conflict and provide guidance and counselling where necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to liaise at with staff and management alike. A resilient individual who is flexible and adaptable with strong business acumen will succeed in our environment. Your key responsibilities will include: • Conflict Resolution: Serve as a mediator. Resolve disputes and implement strategies to uphold a harmonious work environment. Conduct thorough investigations into complaints and grievances. • Employee Engagement: Enhance morale and satisfaction. Develop initiatives, foster open communication, and acknowledge contributions to cultivate trust and loyalty. • Communication Facilitation: Ensure employee concerns are heard, facilitate discussions during organizational changes, and effectively communicate company policies. • Advocacy for Employee Rights and Well-being: Champion compliance with labour laws, formulate inclusive policies, and promote resources for health and wellness. • On-the-Floor Support: Provide hands-on assistance. Document warnings, promptly address concerns, and collaborate with sales management to address patterns such as absenteeism. • Addressing Minor Concerns: Manage disputes and guide junior management to mitigate escalation. Liaise between HRBP and sales operations for streamlined service delivery. Minimum Requirements: Matric and related Degree / Diploma in HR or Industrial Psychology At least 3 to 5 years’ HR experience handling employee concerns and grievances In-depth knowledge of labour legislation (LRA, BCEA and EEA) Ability to provide strategic HR guidance in line with best practices Behaviours and Competencies: Analytical thinking and decision-making skills Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness Active listening and articulate communication Strong ethical standards and discretion If you are desire to make a meaningful impact and thrive in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply now!
