They are currently looking for a Professionally Registered Civil Engineer. Overview of Civil Engineer Position: The Civil Engineer will be part of the existing engineering team, providing engineering services to large and small projects. Projects will range from government funded/procured projects (e.g. housing, clinics, hospitals, schools, student accommodation, etc.) to private projects (retail and commercial developments, etc.). Key Responsibilities: Assist the Company Director (Lead Civil Engineer) with the delivery of project requirements as they relate to scope, quantities, cost, and schedule Develop and maintain the project scope of work documentation and revise as required during the design evolution Assist in the compilation and delivery of monthly engineering status reports Represent the discipline in the project engineering coordination meetings Prepare and/or review project procedures and design criteria Qualifications and Experience: Essential: A recognized degree in civil engineering from an accredited university To have professional registration (Pr.) or at a minimum working towards professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa 5 years experience in relevant civil design Experienced in the use of relevant civil engineering software, including Modelmaker, AutoCAD, Civil3D, etc. Ability to manage and delegate to individuals to attain quality, cost, and schedule objectives #J-18808-Ljbffr
