These jobs were popular with other job seekers Our client, an export trading business is looking to hire a Financial Manager , based in Durban Duties and Responsibilities : Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement the organization's financial strategy and long-term financial planning Provide financial insights and guidance to the executive team and the board of directors Assess the financial health of the organization and recommend actions for improvement Develop and implement financial strategies to support the companies objectives Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Provide accurate and timely financial reports to internal and external stakeholders Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage the budgeting process, working with department heads to set financial targets and monitor performance against budgets Create financial forecasts and scenarios to support decision-making and resource allocation Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the organization's liquidity needs are met Identify and assess financial risks, such as market volatility, credit risk, and operational risk.
