PepsiCo SA employs more than 13, 000 people across our three business divisions: Bakeries, Grains, Foods, Fruit, Snacks, Juice & Beverages.ResponsibilitiesWhat we're looking for:We're looking for an Accountant to join our team.Accountabilities:Run monthly stock counts/manage adhoc stock count adjustments:Identify clear cut-off, capture counts on SAP & run variance report for further investigation;Corroborate reasons for variances to actual evidence and obtain approval from location manager to post stock count variance;Provide a monthly summary of stock count variances posted.Manage the debtor's claims process:Liaise with Sales team for monthly sales provisions to be raised;Prepare claim schedules with available provisions for approval and matching to relevant provision;Release approved claims on SAP and reverse relevant provision on SAP;Flag shortages for approval per DMF and for forecasting purposes.Review the debtors ageing and following up on long outstanding claims:Provide commentary on the ageing for those accounts outside of their normal payment terms;Escalate payment issues and/or unresolved claims to Financial Manager.Maintain customer rebate agreements in accordance with signed trading term agreement:Annual roll forward of rebate agreements on SAP;Update SAP and rebate agreement template for any changes;Flag changes for the relevant approval and for forecasting purposes.Review and release of rebate claims on SAP in accordance with signed trading term agreement;Monthly income statement check that all rebate agreements are accruing on SAP in line with the relevant trading term agreement;Review and release returns per Decision Making Framework (DMF).Review and release of blocked sales orders:Obtaining approvals per DMF with substantial evidence of account review;Identify accounts continuously blocking and propose new credit limit based on monthly orders and payment history.Compile weekly reporting on specific monthly spend by cost centre reporting:Marketing spend;Retail store spend;Ecommerce spend.Assist with PO release process:Review for relevant approval per DMF;Release PO on SAP.Identify and raise monthly and adhoc accruals;Prepare financial balance sheet reconciliations;Assist with 9ke0/distribution rules in preparation for month end reporting;Assist with month end duties as required;Review assigned CSA controls and upload corresponding evidence;Assist with the completion and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual Pepsi submissions;Assist with year end audit;Assist with relevant implementation and transition to SAP S4 HANA.QualificationsB.Com3+ years experienceGood computer skills, with advanced excel skillsAttention to detail and accuracyGood communication skillsAbility to work under pressureExperience with SAP would be advantageousOwn transport#J-18808-Ljbffr
