FUNCTION: FABRICATION YARD MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR DISCIPLINE: MAINTENANCE PROJECT: AMBRIZ PROJECT LOCATION: ANGOLA DURATION: CONTRACT (RENEWABLE) SALARY: MARKET RELATED JOB DESCRIPTION: Initiate, implement, and manage the maintenance strategies based on best practices in the industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling preventative/reactive maintenance. Establish and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (AMOS) for tracking work orders, and maintenance history of equipment. Prepares reports, data, and make recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance related problems. Manages a team of in-house and outsourced maintenance personnel and ensures that maintenance contractors are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost‐effective manner. Track, analyze and improve key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, schedule compliance, etc. Plan and finalize a yearly maintenance budget in coordination with the various Operation. Excellent knowledge in preventive and breakdown maintenance of Crawled and Wheeled Cranes (Terex, Manitowoc, Grove, American-Hoist, etc...), in particular related to engine, hydraulic and pneumatic system, crane configuration and setting. Good knowledge in preventive and breakdown maintenance for fabrication equipment (HGG, Muller, Soitaab, Ficep, Davi, etc.). Good knowledge in preventive and breakdown maintenance for diesel power generators, welding machine, welding boom, roller (Caterpillar, Cummins, Miller, Lincoln, ESAB, etc.). QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Accredited Mechanical degree level or equivalent. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience. A good understanding of property maintenance, methodologies, and processes. A good communicator, with a track record of well-organized methodical work patterns.
