Description Assess credit worthiness of applicants (mortgage and other credit products) through undertaking detailed risk assessment analysis on clients, security/property and lending applications Ensure that procedures and decisions comply with credit policy and best practice standards Motivate and support decisions through the analysis of financial information such as bank statements, financial statements and management accounts Provide quality service to internal customers and liaise with other staff within the company, such as sales managers, further lending staff, unsecured lending staff and registrations officers Stay informed about the legal, compliance and market - risk-related issues involved in the approval of credit Provide regular feedback on the submission of loan applications to management Education Profile B.Com Degree or relevant business degree Credit underwriting (mortgage lending) experience (min 2 years) Confidence Team Player Self-Motivated Agile/Adaptable Good temperament Responsible A strong combination of analytical and decision-making skills Good interpersonal skills Resilience Good written and verbal communication skills MS Office (Intermediate) Ability to work under pressure Time Management Attention to detail and strong proven credit/financial analytical skill including property valuations Critical thinking Application Instructions Please forward your CV to jeri.c@myfuturecareer.co.za.
