ROLE DESCRIPTION:Monitor day-to-day “Sales Core Desk” and “Business Development” sub teams’ performance for Area.Drive high quality level towards our smaller-and mid-sized customers (Core Accounts), through digital & voice channels.Drive performance within the team by exceeding Quality promises and Sales relevant Key Performance Indicators.Drive team to proactively react to ad-hoc initiatives such as fill a certain vessel / upsell specific product(s).ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Coach and steer Sales Core Desk and Business Development sub teams to achieve targets.Hold responsibility for team´s performance.Create and maintain an open communication channel within Department, Area and Region stakeholders.Review and tune team´s workload to ensure delivery effectiveness.Promote the company standards application and ensure documentation of local guidelines, where applicable.Ensure functional training requirements are fulfilled.Prepare calls, conduct calls, report and follow-up on calls for incubation accounts, where applicable.Evaluate customer potential (Forecast/Budget) and conduct incubation accounts Sales planning.Selectively engage in Trade Management discussions on important matters.Deliver feedback on market conditions, including rate levels and competition activities, to relevant stakeholders.Follow-up on open Sales Leads and Opportunities.Look for continuous Sales Core Desk and Business Development process improvement.Manage and control Sales Core Desk and Business Development teams functions according to guidelines set by Sales director and Area Management.Develops Sales strategies to increase business volume.ROLE SKILLS:University degree or equivalent.Very good command of written and spoken local language and English.Advanced working knowledge of MS Office tools.Able to work well with others and follow guidelines.Hands on mentality to approach existing and new customers.Customer oriented attitude with willingness to set limits.Receptive and be able to grasp new ideas.Capable to work under pressure.Result driven team player with proactive attitude.
