Job purpose/mandatePrepare financial reports in terms of required standards. Interpret financial reports and suggest solutions to problems.Assist with strategy planning and execution. Assist in the formulation ofbusiness plans and financial forecasts.Specific duties and responsibilities: Control costs through cost accounting. Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and tax filings. Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations. Perform full bookkeeping and accounting functions up to trial balance. Handle VAT and PAYE reviews, invoicing, and debtors' collection. Calculate, reconcile, and submit IRP5. Assisting with Strategy Planning and Execution Risk Management Identify and manage risks Provide tax-related advice and services Business Valuations Other agreed upon engagement on Business and Financial ServicesDesired Experience & Qualifications Matric A relevant bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential. This degree should be from an accredited institution. SAIPA Membership: Candidate must be a member of SAIPA to practice as a registered accountant. Candidate must have passed the SAIPA Professional Evaluation (PE) exam. Practical Experience: Practical experience of three years or more. Ethics and Professionalism: Demonstrate ethical behaviour and adhere to professional standards set by SAIPA. Continuing Professional Development (CPD)Expectations Strong relationship building skills & able to service current client base. Proficient in administration and high level of attention to detail. Computer literate Must be able to function well under pressure The successful Candidate will be well-presented, well-spoken, a team player, and possess
