Position: Credit ManagerLocation: Durban,KZNRole Summary:The role of the Credit Manager is to manage the credit lending and expenditure of the companyMinimum Qualification Requirements:BSc in Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance or relevant fieldProven work experience as a Credit Manager, Credit Analyst or similar roleHands-on experience with accounting softwareSolid understanding of lending proceduresExcellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets (e.g. in Excel)Negotiation skillsRoles and Responsibilities:Adhere to the expenditure budget as forecast in the annual meeting.Ensure all credit applications are correctly processed and new accounts monitored to create payment history.Ensure all company expenditure is necessary, within the companies means and is done following all procedures and policies within the company.Authorise all expenditure submittedMonitor Petty Cash ClaimsCorrectly inform staff of procedures to follow regarding credit.Perform any additional tasks as requested within the skill and scope of the position.
