Job Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for below mentioned functions in the Parts department and work very closely with the Assistant Parts Manager to ensure the daily operation of the department runs smoothly.Responsibilities:Assist internal and external customers with their Spare Parts requirements.Loading of parts onto wips, for quotations on point of Sale.Booking out/ backordering of parts to jobs, whilst following the procedures in place.Following up on customer quotes.Invoicing customer orders and following it through until delivered/ collection.Keeping customers informed on their backorders timeously – internal and external.Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities including company cross selling and marketing.Will be required to assist with stock counts and work after hours occasionally.Qualifications and Competencies Required:MatricAutoline experience advantageousMust be computer literate to be able to work on Microsoft, Excel and WordExperience and knowledge in Forklift parts.Must know how to read a Parts manual.Must be a logical thinker.Ability to work under pressure and multi- taskSales soft skills with good communication.Must have a valid Driver’s license.Must be technically minded and willing to learn.Must be trustworthy , reliable and of sober habits.Must have good work ethics and practices.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
