Introduction We currently have an opportunity for a IT Systems Administrator based in Durban System Design and Implementation: Design, configure, and implement IT systems and networks to meet the organization's needs. Maintenance and Support: Ensure the ongoing operation and maintenance of IT systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues. Hardware and Software Management: Oversee the selection, deployment, and management of hardware and software solutions. Capacity Planning: Monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning to meet future needs. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for applications, systems, and network configurations. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to support the organization's technology requirements Experience: Several years of experience in IT systems engineering, with a focus on complex system design and maintenance. Certifications: Relevant certifications like CompTIA Network , AWS SAA, or Microsoft MCSE/MCITP can be beneficial. Technical Skills: Proficiency in various operating systems, networking protocols, virtualization technologies, and cloud computing platforms. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Communication: Good communication skills to work with colleagues and convey technical information effectively.. Project Management: Ability to manage projects related to system upgrades and implementations. Team Leadership: Leadership skills for guiding junior engineers or technicians. Adaptability: The IT field evolves rapidly, so adaptability and a willingness to learn are important. Min 5 Years’ experience in an Enterprise environment in the following fields: Server 2003-2022 experience Active Directory (replication&sync) Azure AD Connect experience in a Hybrid environment. Group Policy Management (Maintain and resolve any related errors) DNS – understanding the different record types and setup Ability to support wide range of application requirements on multiple windows server environments Deep understanding of Microsoft Office 365&Exchange 2016-2019 Hybrid setup Exchange online and policies Experience in Mimecast Journaling and policies Resolve sync issues related to users out of sync with on prem AD #J-18808-Ljbffr
