Candidates who live outside of the province will be assisted in relocation. Only South African Citizens need apply. Matric Higher Certificate in Fire Engineering Intermediate Life Support Paramedic Mandatory including registration with HPCSA (Non-Negotiable) High Angle rope rescue 1+2 Qualifications SAMTRAC Other (Advantageous): Incident Commander Fire Officer 2 will be advantageous Snake identification/bite treatment and snake handling will be advantageous National Diploma or Higher Qualification in Fire Engineering or related Risk Field will be advantageous C1 Drivers Licence Professional Driving Permit Experience: Minimum of 3 years in industrial/ Municipal Fire Services in a similar capacity SAP or Equivalent Central Maintenance Management System advantageous&MS Office Suite Medically fit&able to pass a fitness test&safety Medical. Leadership experience in managing medical or hazmat emergencies. Responsibilities include overseeing all fire safety and emergency response activities in a manufacturing facility, responding to emergencies, and developing comprehensive plans and drills. Conducting regular audits, drills, and training sessions to ensure employee preparedness. Maintaining records and reports related to emergencies and establishing relationships with emergency medical and fire protection services. Taking charge as an incident commander during emergencies and ensuring prompt and efficient responses. Inspecting and maintaining equipment and systems. Investigating fire incidents, identifying causes, and implementing corrective actions. Effective communication across different organizational levels. Ability to work well under pressure and independently. Training and coaching skills for personnel. Proficiency in conducting accurate audits and reporting. Planning and executing fire, medical, and hazmat drills, along with reporting findings and recommendations. Managing and maintaining emergency response equipment.
