A leading Global Shipping and Logistics company has an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist in their Human Resources Department, based in Prospecton, KZN. The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing on-site HR guidance, support, and execution to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, thereby promoting labour stability and optimal performance. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in a human resource advisory role and must possess a valid driver's license, as the role requires overseeing multiple sites.Requirements:Matric, Degree/Diploma in Human Resources.3 to 5 years within a human resource advisory role.Valid driver’s licence (responsible for different sites-non-negotiable)Encourage effective communication at all levels to develop a culture of participation and involvement.Provide leadership, encouragement, training, and support to help others achieve their results.Create a positive atmosphere that encourages commitment and exceeding objectives.Mentor, counsel, and coach those who need support to build morale and performance.Generate monitoring systems to identify achievement of objectives.Ensure corrective action plans are formulated and implemented.Work within a specialist area to continuously improve service quality.Remain self-controlled and open to others' thoughts and feelings.Develop competence and expertise.Handle conflict situations non-confrontationally to achieve standards and timelines.Duties:Guide and support business operations with full-spectrum HR capabilities including recruitment, industrial relations, training, performance management, and employee assistance.Engage with management to promote HR best practices for labour stability and compliance.Participate in audit processes and promote good corporate governance.Manage relationships with key customers and suppliers.Create awareness of BBBEE within the company.Translate legislative changes into relevant HR Policies and Practices.Provide input to updating company policies and procedures.Ensure implementation and compliance of HR Policies and procedures.Load employees onto Time and Attendance system (X-Time).Submit payroll information to Head Office for new starters and weekly operations.Comply with company Policies and Procedures and relevant HR Legislation.Manage implementation of the EE strategy and equity-related processes.Coordinate Transformation Forum meetings and consult with stakeholders.Monitor and report on labour statistics to line management.Oversee the site recruitment process end to end.Manage the exit process and conduct exit interviews.Create and maintain assessment databases for new starters and existing employees.Ensure Psychometrics are conducted for recruitment and development.Represent HR in consultations with stakeholders at the site level.Facilitate resolution of employee disputes and grievances.Develop an Organisation training plan with site management.Assist with training programme formulation and implementation.Coordinate Learnerships, in-service training, and apprenticeships.Maintain and update Skills Development statistics and reports.Facilitate the Performance Management process.Participate in Individual Development Planning process.Evaluate HR Systems and establish new requirements.Develop internal communication in collaboration with Snr HR Manager.Facilitate Change management initiatives and keep updated with HR trends.Identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations.Analyze onsite practices regarding sick leave to introduce cost-reducing initiatives.Conduct monthly reporting on onsite people practices.Complete all required administration for successful performance.Perform other tasks as assigned.#J-18808-Ljbffr
