This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments across the organization to ensure alignment with financial goals and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): • Lead the annual budgeting process, including the development of financial models and forecasts. • Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and other financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. • Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections. 2. Reporting: • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, board of directors, and external stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulatory requirements. • Manage the consolidation of financial results for multiple business units and geographical locations. 3. Financial Controls: • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information. • Develop and enforce policies and procedures that improve financial transparency and accountability. 4. Collaboration and Communication: • Work closely with department heads and business unit leaders to gather necessary financial information and provide guidance on financial matters. • Act as a liaison between group finance and regional finance teams to ensure cohesive financial planning and reporting. • Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner. 5. Team Leadership: • Responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to a group of financial analysts and accountants. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance team. • Set specific performance objectives and carry out regular performance evaluations. Qualifications&Experience CA (SA) Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, preferably within a multinational company. Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations (IFRS/GAAP). Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques. Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
