Position: Export Co-OrdinatorLocation: Durban, KZNMinimum Qualifications:Certificate or National Diploma in MarketingExperience in the FMCG or Export Sales/Sales Reporting IndustryAbility to communicate in Portuguese (Read, Written and Verbal)Knowledge of INCOTERMSComputer Skills:MS Offcie Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Proficient with Excel is a mustPeople Skills:Decision making and sound judgement skillsNegotiation skillsPresentation SkillsTime ManagementTeam PlayerFlexibilityRoles and Responsibilities:Quoting export prices on various Intercoms Terms(FCA/FOB etc) and working out the full value cost with BOM or transfer costConfirming product pricing Freight rates from shipping agentsObtaining and sending samples by airfreightFollowing up and closing salesFollowing up on production, SOH vs Orders and production planLiaising with Marketing Departments on product and packaging changes as requiredChecking the messages sent and received by fax and email system and making sure that they are successfully distributed and transmittedLiaising with relevant departments within the company with regards to travel arrangementsPreparing the necessary orders and ensuring timely deliveryArrangements with external customers and suppliersPreparing of purchase orders, when requiredAnswering of incoming telephone calls when lines are engaged or when individuals of the department are not in their officesResponsible for prompt reply on all Tender requirements from quotation to final invoice.
