Duties and Responsibilities:Managing the ladieswear account, driving sales and meeting targets.Building strong relationships with buyers and suppliers.Trend research, buying and presenting ranges.Product development and sourcing for ladieswear garments.Handling costing negotiations with suppliers and customers.Strategically placing orders with suppliers based on styling, capability, price, capacity, delivery, etc.Overseeing and signing off on all samples received from the factories.Ensuring accurate and timeous communication with customers and suppliers on all matters relating to design, costing, approvals, problem solving, etc.Reporting to Management on current styles, orders, pricing, deliveries, sales feedback, etc.Requirements:Solid Buying or Merchandising experience in ladieswear fashion.Experience working with retail chains and buyers.A good eye for product and comfortable buying and presenting ranges.Knowledge/Experience in product development, costing and negotiating pricing.Ability to handle pressure and problem solve.Excellent communication and people skills.Must be comfortable with travel, locally and abroad.Energetic and driven, with a passion for fashion.IMPORTANT NOTICEBy applying to this advert you hereby acknowledge that you have read and accept the following Protection of Personal Information ACT (POPIA) disclaimer:I hereby consent for Talented Recruitment to process my personal information as part of the recruitment process.
