Job Purpose: Plans, directs, and implements organizational safety, health, and environmental programs to ensure compliance and promote sustainability. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Safety Management ISO 14001 (Internal Auditor) Additional Qualifications: SAMTRAC, ESG&sustainability certificate Experience: 6-8 years of relevant safety, health, and environmental experience Key Responsibilities: SHE Strategy: Develop and implement operational and sustainability plans in line with company goals. Legislation Compliance: Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws; keep management updated on legislation changes. Policies and Procedures: Develop, update, and enforce SHE policies. SHE Management: Implement and evaluate safety, risk, security, health, and environmental programs. Management System: Maintain and report on the SHE management systems. Audits: Represent the company in ISO 14001 and OHAS 18001 systems audits; manage audit inspections and follow-ups. Risk Management: Implement risk management programs and improvement initiatives. Emergencies: Develop fire prevention and protection systems. Security Management: Oversee the security systems integrity across all sites. Sustainability: Lead sustainability projects, manage budgets, and engage with external stakeholders. People Management: Ensure a safe work environment, manage team performance, facilitate training, and handle grievances and disputes.
