A valued client of Datacentrixis seeking a Microsoft Specialist to join their Enterprise IT Infrastructure & Operations department based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. applications, products and servicesProject managementICT change managementService managementLicensing RequirementsResponsibilities:Develop and Implement Control SystemsDevelopment of a control system is identified during operational executionThe need for a control system is identified as a result of the auditing process; or receive a request for the development of a control system and analyse to determine the requirements of the control systemTypes of control systems to be developed and implemented, i.e. Policies, Procedures, Business Processes, Standard Operating ProceduresConsult existing control systems to determine components that can be utilised in the new control systemDetermine dependencies, inter-dependencies, and co-dependencies to other control systemsReview the company control systems to ensure alignmentConsult audit findings, where applicable, to determine procedural problems or risk areasDevelop the first draft of the control system in accordance with company format and requirementsConduct the necessary working groups with the relevant role players to obtain inputs into the draft control systemDistribute the draft to the relevant role players, for input, and repeat the process until all affected role players are satisfied with the draftDevelop the final control system in accordance with the company standards and specificationsObtain approval for the control system in accordance with the delegation of authorityImplement the control system in accordance within Institutional policies and proceduresCommunicate the implementation of the control system in accordance with policies and proceduresUpload the control system onto the control system database for utilisation by the relevant role playersArchive the control system document for reference purposesDevelop SolutionsReceive a request for the development of a solution and analyse to determine the nature of the functionalityThe need for functionality is identified during operational outputLiaise with the users to determine the exact needs and to compile a first draft URSConduct an impact study to determine the possible effect on the current- and associated systemsConduct a feasibility study to determine the cost of the implementation of the functionalityObtain approval for the development of the functionality and the necessary acquisitionsCompile a functional specification in accordance with the URSDevelop the functionality/solution in accordance with the functional specificationSource the development of the functionality/solution to the relevant role playersTest the functionality to ensure that it conforms to the functional specificationConduct user acceptance testing in collaboration with the users in accordance with the functional specificationModify the functionality/solution where necessary taking into consideration the impact on the systemTest the modifications in accordance with the policies and procedures and the functional specificationImplement the functionality on the live system in accordance with policies and proceduresDocument the functionality for future reference purposesProvide information, conduct sections of ICT and to the staff.Ensure Service QualityService quality must be analysed in accordance with scheduled analysis activitiesCollect the necessary data for the analysis process from the various sources utilising the relevant business tools, i.e.: manually form the relevant sources, relevant role players (Dashboard) & integrated management systemsAnalyse the data to enable the compilation of the necessary reportsAnalyse the statistics manually/electronically to produce the relevant informationTransform the data into the required information format & collate the analysed information into the prescribed formatConsult the necessary standards and specifications to determine the quality levels applicableProduce the necessary reports in the prescribed format indicating the relevant key performance indicators as related to standardsInitiate the corrective actions where necessary and manage to ensure rectificationDistribute the report to the relevant role players and
